Open source MVP for macOS
AIDE runs on your device, remembers your work across sessions, prepares your day, routes approvals, and proves the owner mesh concept across trusted devices without making one cloud service the center of control.
The installer is distributed through GitHub Releases. If the download
fails, open the latest release and download Vera.dmg.

VerifiedInstall
Download Vera.dmg from the latest GitHub release.
Open the DMG and drag Vera.app into Applications.
Launch Vera. It starts the local web app and opens setup at localhost:3000.
Choose Ollama or a cloud model key. Add Telegram, email, and calendar when ready.
What is in the MVP
A prepared operating view for calendar, unread email, pending approvals, and tasks.
Read, search, draft, and send with approval gates on sensitive outbound actions.
Pair trusted devices, inspect trust, route approvals, and test delegated work.
Early sovereign peer collaboration model: another person's AIDE is not your device.
Run local-first with Ollama, or route selected work to Groq, Gemini, or OpenAI.
Local finance tooling is available as an optional module, not the default MVP surface.
Privacy and control
Vera is designed around owner control: local storage, explicit model keys, approval tiers, trusted device pairing, and revocable mesh trust. Telegram is optional but strongly recommended as a mobile owner console for approvals and delegated node work.
AIDE is licensed under AGPL-3.0. You can use, study, modify, and self-host it. If you run a modified network service for others, share the modified source under the same license.
First-run notes
This MVP build may not be notarized. If macOS blocks it, open System Settings, allow the app, then launch Vera again.
Vera runs locally at http://localhost:3000. If setup
does not open automatically, paste that address into your browser.
Runtime logs live at ~/.aide/data/aide.log. They are
useful when checking model, mesh, email, or calendar setup.
